On Oct 22nd 2007 Bertie Ahern officially opened the Sole Sport Surfaces mini soccer pitch at Hardwicke Street in Dublin. The project was a joint venture between the Hardwicke Street Residents Group, Dublin City Council and the FAI. Sole Sport Surfaces worked closely with all the involved parties to create the perfect solution for the community and surrounding area. The 700m² site is one of the first pitches in Ireland to be built under the FAI mini soccer programme.
